Q:
What is a SIPOC diagram and when is it constructed?
SIPOC maps Suppliers, Inputs, Process (5 to 7 high-level steps), Outputs, and Customers. It is drafted at the beginning of the Define phase to establish boundary conditions before detailed value stream mapping or process flow charting.
